Being treasured isn't a feeling.
Its accepting who God made you to be without influence from outside forces. But, it can be a battle to retain your royal position. Fortunately, God has given us a firm foundation to stand on to keep our tiara in place.
The older you get, you realize that your feelings aren't the law. They are influenced by what is going on in your life.........if you are tired, if you feel appreciated, If you feel unappreciated, if your hair is cooperating, if you feel fat or skinny...........its all flexible and can change rather fast.
That is why you cannot base whether you are loved and treasured from your feelings. We all know we are hard on ourselves when looking in that morning mirror. Every new gray hair shines like the sun! Every line or wrinkle charts a map on our face. But, who we are is truly not in that mirror. That mirror will continue to change, but the spirit within us, is constant.
We ARE that spirit within us.
You can take a big step in your life today by deciding that from now on, the mirror and how you feel are not going to determine your value.
JESUS already set your value firmly in place when He took our place on His cross. Your value is on that cross! No where else.
So, don't let the enemy fool you day in and day out with a lie that says you just aren't good enough, just aren't pretty enough and you will never be anything special. He is the Father of Lies. Toss him out with the daily garbage and begin to read in God's Word WHO you truly are.......let your mind be renewed by His Word..............YOU are His Treasured Possession! His Beloved Bride!
Treasuring You in His Love,
Karen
