Karen M. Jantzi, CPC
I'm not really sure I understand blogging just yet. I just know Jesus has done so much in my life that I cannot keep it to myself. God says He comforts us, so that we can comfort others in their hour of need. I can hardly believe that sometimes as I share my past and see it help someone else. I'm impelled to share what He's done for me because I know I don't deserve it with all my flaws and the fact that it can help someone else is still mind blowing to me.
He is so gracious to ALWAYS be by my side and bring change to my life. I want to live that out for Him and others and so I blog, I counsel, I offer my support to women on the journey of life just like me. If I stumble, I let them know that its okay to stumble as long as you know who's hand will lift you back up.
God is no respecter of persons. His Word works for us all the same. I'm no more special than anyone that He would heal me of a major stroke, or restore a horrible relationship to peace, or bring a loving husband into my life when I had known so much pain in the past. But, I am His! Didn't earn His love. Can't lose His love. The best thing is those blessings are for us all!
We have the ability to listen and learn and avoid the cliffs and pits of the road ahead if we take the good counsel of the wise. That is why God tells us that there is safety in a multitude of counsel. Even if first counsel is Google! For me, I want to let others know the things He has done for me with a prayer that it will help them bring more of Jesus into their life.
I want to encourage you today to look at what Jesus has done for you. You don't have to speak from a platform, blog or have your own ministry to share His truth. That person at the pharmacy you talked to today might be hopeless from illness. The love and care you showed her while standing in line as you listened to her pain might be just the motivation she needed to go home and have the will to keep trying. You let her know she was worthwhile. You shared the love of Jesus from your heart and that is powerful.
What might seem small to you may be something huge to someone else. So, share yourself and let God be in charge of what He does with it. You open your mouth. You send the card. You make the dinner and take it over. You come do the laundry when they are sick. You wipe the tears as they fall. These are your open doors to share His love.
Praying for all of you that you will hear the voice of the Holy Spirit when He nudges you to step out and be His mouthpiece.
PRAYER: Lord, I'm so grateful for all you have done in my life. Even the hard times that have come have taught me so much and drawn me close to You. Take the change that You have brought into my life and make it a blessing for someone else who might be struggling and need a word of truth or encouragement. Help me share what You have done for me with the one that might not even know its available to them, so that they might be blessed and You might get glory. Thank you so much for loving me and being my inner voice. I will choose to follow You! Multiply my blessing, Lord!
Treasuring You in His Love,
Karen
